Ashley Graham is from Lincoln, Nebraska. As she grew with their sisters, she was constantly bullied by classmates due to her huge legs. Sally Singer was the "Vogue Magazine" interviewer who gave her one of her first break-throughs in 2007. Graham then made an appearance in Glamour magazine's 2009 edition of "These Bodies Look Beautiful at Every Size". Then, making headlines again, Graham starred in a controversial Lane Bryant ad that was eventually banned in a number of countries; the commercial had garnered over 800,000 views at the time it was taken off YouTube. After the debate erupted her appearance on the Jay Leno show "The Tonight Show". Graham was soon a well-known plus size model. Grande began singing and acting when she was a young child. In 2008, the actress got a part on The Broadway show 13, and started appearing on TV in smaller roles. The year 2010 brought her big breakthrough when she was asked to play on the Nickelodeon show Victorious. The character she played was Cat Valentine, an adolescent who was enrolled in a school of performing arts. After the demise of the sitcom in 2013, she appeared on the sitcom Sam & Cat.
