Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in the city of St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. She earned her degree at The University of Missouri Columbia with a BA in Communications and Theatre. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles she quickly got involved in theater arts acting as well as choreographing over a dozen musicals and plays including The Little Foxes Brady Bunch: The Musical Peter Pan at the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera as well as 7 lead roles at LA's award winning Storybook Theatre. Kelly also began landing the roles in television and film, while continuing her improv studies in The Groundlings. Her unique voice and petite size has enabled her to take on a wide variety of bright characters. Her name was well-known to the people for her role of the evil Samara alongside Naomi Watts, in The Ring 2. However Kelly is more well-known as the cheerful and bright receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly worked as a TV Land Regular on the series from 2011 to 2015, starring as a paralegal in the daytime as well as an evening party-goer. Kelly was also on the show as Alyssa's sassy, sexpert sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the mother of a stressed suburban family in the CW series No Tomorrow. Soprano was her voice for several cartoons such as Tom & Jerry, Sofia the First and Doc McStuffins. Recently, she has appeared as the dim yet lovable Cloud 9 employees on NBC's popular comedy Superstore. She is married with two young kids and has a peaceful house. She loves to write or sew as well as volunteer at schools.
