Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She performed in The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her with a degree as a cum laude theatre and Communication. After moving into Los Angeles Kelly quickly became active in the theatre, performing and choreographing over two dozen shows. These included The Little Foxes Brady Bunch The Musical Peter Pan in Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. While continuing to study the art of improvisation with The Groundlings and becoming a company member of Theatre West Kelly also started landing roles on television as well as in films. Her voice is distinctive and her diminutive size lets her perform a range of roles. The most famous character she has played is Naomi Watts's scheming Samara in The Ring 2, but her best-known character is as the fun receptionist on Two and a Half Men. Kelly played the role of an attorney and a social animal in TV the show Land's The Exes in the role of a series regular between the years of 2011 and. Additionally, she played Alyssa's sassy sexpert sibling on ABC's Romantically Challenged. On the CW's No Tomorrow she portrayed the stress-stricken suburban mom. She has lent her soprano singing voice to several cartoons including Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. The most recent time she was seen in NBC's smash comedy Superstore as the dim, but adorable Cloud 9 worker. She has a peaceful private life, with her husband and two small children. She loves sewing, writing and helping out at school events.
