Laura Leggett Linney, born on 5th February 1964 is an American actress. Laura Leggett Linney, an American actress. Her birth date was 5 February 1964. Linney was on the stage for her Broadway debut in 1990. After going on to receive Tony Award nominations for the 2002 revival of The Crucible, the original Broadway productions of Sight Unseen (2004), Time Stands Still (2010) as well as My Name Is Lucy Barton (2020), and the 2017 revival of The Little Foxes. In 2001, Linney received the first Emmy Award she ever received for her film on television Wild Iris. Other wins follow for the showbiz sitcom Frasier from 2003-2004 and for short-form series John Adams in 2008. From 2010 to 2013, she appeared in the Showtime series The Big C, which brought her back a fourth Emmy in 2013. Then, from 2017 until 2022, she played in the Netflix Crime series Ozark.
