American actor Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge. Her career began with supporting roles in the teenage comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt and played a supporting part in the short-lived show The Ex List. She starred as a young Moira O'Hara during the initial season of FX's American Horror Story, and was Kaylee in the third season. She played Jessie Anderson on AMC's The Walking Dead as well as Sophie on the NBC show This Is Us. She voices various characters in the show Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge grew up in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10 years old at which point her mom and she moved to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year before finally moving to Mill Valley. Breckenridge started to be attracted to acting, photography and singing when she was 13. Breckenridge relocated to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
